I’ve been posting pictures, but I’ve not actually been posting much about me recently!
Things are going GOOD!
I’ve all but finished lectures for the summer (one exam in a couple of weeks!) and I’ve got loads of good news :)
I’m now an assistant photographer for a portrait and wedding photographer company A&L Photography, (link might work website coming soon!) and I also dabble in editing canvas prints for local bespoke Canvas printing company; The Print Suite.
This has all come about from “stepping out of your comfort zone”. Something that was hammered into me by a recent guest lecturer David Mascord; David asserted that to build confidence in your abilities, and to gain attention from prospective employers, you should take every oppurtunity that comes your way- you may surprise yourself. I might have taken this too literally a few days ago, but we’ll come to that…
So in a bout of good luck two job opportunities arose. I am perhaps riding too much on photography at the moment seeing as my main goal is to be a journalist, but it’s life experience nonetheless.
So, stepping out of my comfort zone, I might have made a mistake in applying for a car blog… but we all learn from mistakes!
Things are going well, so expect some more pictures up soon; I’ll be posting some portraits in a few hours!
